Michael Yang (Korean name: Yang Min-jeong, 64), a first-generation Korean-American venture entrepreneur and investor in Silicon Valley, has published his autobiography, ‘Coming Alive on the Ride,’ and is now officially documenting the second half of his life. Kwon Yul, a Google vice president and winner of the CBS reality show ‘Survivor,’ praised the book, saying, “The immigrant’s story of challenges, entrepreneurial spirit, and adventure leads to deep reflection. It is a book that reminds us that the greatest growth begins when we embrace uncertainty.”

The 300-page book begins with the immigrant story of a man who grew up in Korea and moved to San Jose, Northern California, at the age of 14. Struggling with language and cultural barriers, he used his savings from part-time jobs to buy a 100cc Yamaha motorcycle, experiencing freedom on the road for the first time.
