He is the first-generation Korean entrepreneur in Silicon Valley who made headlines for selling his company for $700 million. Michael Yang, CEO of Michael Yang Adventures, has published a new English-language book titled ‘Coming Alive on the Ride’ (Greenleaf Book Group), which chronicles his journey of a 40,000-mile motorcycle ride across North America from 2018 to 2023.
The book is a 316-page full-length novel that calmly weaves together the journey of a boy who immigrated to San Jose with his family at the age of 14 to become a pioneer of Silicon Valley, as well as his reflections on “life after success” as he enters his 60s following the sale of his company, all within the context of a motorcycle journey.
