Michael Yang (61), who founded the online price comparison site “MySimon.com” in Silicon Valley in 1998 and sold it for $700 million two years later, creating a “venture legend,” has made the cover story of the March issue of “Road of Adventure,” a global motorcycle media outlet.
In an article titled “What Happened to Michael Yang?”, the outlet reported how he quit his IT business and began traveling across North America, from the Pacific to the Atlantic, on a motorcycle. Yang, currently a director at Korea-America Bank, said, “For the second act of my life, I want to be recognized not as a venture capitalist, but as an adventurer or explorer.”
